Join us on Easter Sunday as we celebrate and rejoice in the glory of the Resurrection!
We gather on Easter for joyful music, a procession of handbells, inspired preaching, and to witness the Ordinance of Baptism, as four young believers walk through the waters of baptism and proclaim their faith. As American Baptists, we practice what is called Believers’ Baptism, which means that young people are baptized by full immersion (going all the way under the water) once they are at an age where they can make the choice for themselves to take this step in their faith journey and to follow Jesus through the baptism waters. It is a moving and joyful moment to witness, and we invite you to come and support our young baptism candidates and to be a part of this special moment.
There will be a Stepsitters message for all children during the service, as well.
