First Baptist Church is dedicated to putting our faith into action and building up God’s reign of love within our walls and far beyond. These efforts are supported directly by the generosity of our community. We have been blessed with generations of visionaries who have guided our church in its missions, and we aspire to continue to be good stewards for our children and to put their talents to continued service. We are guided by these words from the Book of James: “If a brother or sister is without clothing and lacks daily food, and one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and eat your fill,’ and yet you do not supply their bodily needs, what is the good of that.” (James 2: 15-16).
We dedicate ourselves, our time, talent, and resources, to meeting people where they are, to building one another up, and to supporting and enhancing our wider community. If you wish to financially support our community and missions, please use either of these two Donate buttons:
- PayPal – with this option you can make a single payment, and may make a notation of its purpose in the memo field; for example, “general purposes”, “pledge payment”. These payments are linked to your credit card.
- Vanco – with this NEW option you may either make a single payment or set up a regular schedule of payments, and may link them either to your bank account or credit card. For regular givers, you will be prompted to set up an on-line account with Vanco (similar to what you would do for a vendor such as Amazon or Target) in order to be able to make changes to your regular giving plan. Also, under the Vanco option, there are five pre-set giving options which currently are: Sunday Offering, General Donations, Meal Program, Fellowship Fund, and Compassion Fund.
