Holy Week is here! We hope you’ll join us in Holy Week moments, including attending our Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. This beautiful candlelit service helps bring the story of the closing days of Jesus’ life present in our minds, and moves us toward Good Friday. Prayer Stations in the sanctuary are open and available for quiet reflection, prayer, and meditation during church office hours throughout Holy Week, concluding on Good Friday at 1:00 p.m. Then, join us for the joyful celebration of Easter on Sunday, March 31 st ! Our big Easter celebration and pot luck breakfast kicks off at 8:30 a.m., followed by our Egg Hunt at 9:15 a.m. (register by 9 a.m.), and then a joyful Easter worship service at 10 a.m. and featuring the Ordinance of Baptism. We look forward to seeing you!

Last Day of Multi-Age Children’s Class

May 12, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Sunday School

Multi-Age Children’s Class (Pre-school through Grade 5)

Please note: May 12 will be the final day of Children’s class for the year.
(The Multi-Age class meets every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month so our children can enjoy an entire worship service!)
Our class is a one-room schoolhouse structured classroom using a rotation-style curriculum with multiple learning stations designed for various ages and learning styles. Children from preschool age to grade five will meet together with adult leaders and some Middle School/Senior High youth as mentors. This class meets during the 10:00 worship hour and begins after the “Stepsitters” children’s message in the Worship service. The class incorporates music, singing, movement, story-telling, and hands-on projects, all guided by the excellent curriculum, Come Join the Circle, published by Logos Productions, which seeks to teach not only about the stories of faith but also about the work of social justice and advocacy in the world and to empower children and youth to act and to do good in the wider world.
