Saturday Nov 16th  is Applepalooza, where folks of all ages gather in the gym between 9 to about 11:00 or so and peel hundreds of apples in order to make and freeze about 60 Crispy Top apple pies that we sell at the Holiday Fair on November 23rd (read more about that here).  It is a great chance to chat with people while our hands are busy, to make new friends and catch up with old friends. Only have an hour or so? That’s ok , too. Bring your own peeler and some apples to donate if you can.
ALSO: Calling all apples! Please donate Macintosh or Cortland apples (preferred) prior to Nov. 16th (you can bing them the previous Sunday) for our apple pie making adventure for the Fair. Brooksby Farm sells giant bags of seconds, which are fine for our purposes and a very good deal price wise, but any and all apples are welcome!
