We hope you are ready for a flurry of FBC festivities and activities as we officially begin the Advent season! Friday night is our annual Tradition of Hanging of the Greens (including caroling!) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. as we deck the Sanctuary of FBC! Then be sure to save next Tuesday, 12/10 at 6:30 p.m. for a special $1 movie night showing of ELF in conjunction with our friends at The Cabot. Mark your calendar as there will be games, prizes, photos opps, all the good stuff! Stay tuned for more Advent fun on the horizon including an extra special PNO on Friday, 12/13 thanks to our partnership with Beverly Main Streets during the big Winter Market!

Women’s Retreat to Grotonwood

March 8 - March 10

Here’s the Scoop:

  • There is no cost for the retreat, thanks to a generous donation from a church member helping to support the programming;
  • We will meet at the church on Friday evening to carpool/caravan to Grotonwood together (please eat dinner before coming, as we will not have dinner at the camp that night);
  • Those who would prefer to/want to meet the group there can do so;
  • Programming for the retreat will run from Friday evening upon arrival through late afternoon on Saturday;
  • Those who would like to stay for dinner on Saturday, an overnight of just enjoying time together that night, and breakfast on Sunday before heading home can do so, as well, but the formal program itself will run only through Saturday late afternoon;
  • Open to all women in the church family (or friends you may wish to invite!) who are college-age and above).
