We hope you are ready for a flurry of FBC festivities and activities as we officially begin the Advent season! Friday night is our annual Tradition of Hanging of the Greens (including caroling!) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. as we deck the Sanctuary of FBC! Then be sure to save next Tuesday, 12/10 at 6:30 p.m. for a special $1 movie night showing of ELF in conjunction with our friends at The Cabot. Mark your calendar as there will be games, prizes, photos opps, all the good stuff! Stay tuned for more Advent fun on the horizon including an extra special PNO on Friday, 12/13 thanks to our partnership with Beverly Main Streets during the big Winter Market!

Women’s Fellowship Field Trip to Cambridge for Anne Lamott Book Tour!

April 11 @ 7:00 pm

Author Anne Lamott recently announced a book tour to help share about her newest book Somehow: Thoughts on Love, as well as to share, generally, about her writing, humor, and wisdom. During that tour, Anne will be in Cambridge at First Parish Church on Thursday, April 11th, at 7 p.m. We were lucky enough to get 15 FREE tickets so are turning this into a FBC Women’s Field Trip!

Ticket cost is $34.95, which includes a copy of the new book itself, which Anne will sign for folks during the event. Those who would like to go should sign up with Julie at jflowers@fbcbeverly.org. Because we have a limited number of tickets, the signup will be first come, first serve (if we get a list beyond 15, we will try to get additional tickets if at all possible!).

Those who wish to go will meet at First Baptist that Thursday afternoon to ride to Cambridge together in the church van, grab some food, and head to First Parish for the event. Please let Julie know if you have any questions or if you would like to add your name to the list to join in the fun!
