Reception and Private Screening of Bending the Arc

December 6, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The FBC community is invited to join Build Health International and Karen and Jim Ansara at the Cabot Theater for a reception and viewing of this new documentary. Bending the Arc captures the story of Partners in Health, the Boston-based non-profit founded in 1987 “to bring the benefits of modern medical science to those most in need and to serve as an antidote to despair.” Bending the Arc tells PIH’s story from inception to the present day, using their work as a lens for a broader examination of the evolution of the field of global health.  The evening will include a discussion of the how we can all make a difference in the lives of the world’s poor.
