Fellowship and Books via Zoom

May 18, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until June 22, 2022

To say we live in conflicted times is an understatement! What does Jesus teach us about healing ourselves, healing the church, and ultimately healing our broken world? These are the questions that Grace Ji-Sun Kim (Ph.D.), an associate professor of theology at Earlham School of Religion and an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA), and Graham Hill (Ph.D.), a pastor and church planter, take up in their 2018 book, Healing Our Broken World. Join Rev. Jaimie Crumley for a 9-week study of Kim and Graham’s ideas about how we can revitalize the church and the world! We will meet weekly on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm on Zoom!
Copies of the book will be available at the church starting on Maundy Thursday. You may also order a copy for yourself from your favorite bookstore! On April 20, we will discuss the Introduction and Chapter 1. Please join us even if you do not have a chance to read first.
