DESCRIPTION:If you’ve ever entertained the thought of joining the choir\, but hesitated because of the difficulty of the pieces that our sanctuary choir sings\, this new group may be for you.\n\nChapel Choir is led by FBC’s director of music\, Esther Chang\, and meets each Saturday at 11:30am for a 30 to 45-minute rehearsal. The music Esther chooses will be simpler in style and the choir will sing in worship only about once a month. DESCRIPTION:Sunday School\nMulti-Age Children’s Class (Pre-school through Grade 5)\nPlease note: May 12 will be the final day of Children’s class for the year.\n(The Multi-Age class meets every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month so our children can enjoy an entire worship service!)\nOur class is a one-room schoolhouse structured classroom using a rotation-style curriculum with multiple learning stations designed for various ages and learning styles. Children from preschool age to grade five will meet together with adult leaders and some Middle School/Senior High youth as mentors. This class meets during the 10:00 worship hour and begins after the “Stepsitters” children’s message in the Worship service. The class incorporates music\, singing\, movement\, story-telling\, and hands-on projects\, all guided by the excellent curriculum\, Come Join the Circle\, published by Logos Productions\, which seeks to teach not only about the stories of faith but also about the work of social justice and advocacy in the world and to empower children and youth to act and to do good in the wider world.

DESCRIPTION:Join Kent Harrop on Saturday\, May 25th for a relaxing contemplative paddle from 8:30am to 11:00am. on Chebacco Lake.\n\n\n \n\n\nParticipants paddle at a relaxed pace\, in silence\, seeking to be present as the Creator speaks to us through creation. These events are for novice and experienced paddlers\, alike. Bring your own equipment\, or sign up for a limited number of kayaks\, canoes and PFDs (personal flotation devices – life jackets!) on loan. \n\n\n \n\n\nPaddles take place on beautiful Chebacco Lake in Essex\, Ipswich River and coastal locations in the North Shore. We generally paddle a few times per month May-October as weather permits.\n\n\n\n\n\nPaddles are open to the wider community and require registering in advance.
